From central Persia, circa 1940, Singed ' Kashan Ghobani'. This rug has floral oval medallions surrounded by blossoming vines, rosettes and birds, on cranberry-red. Around the edges are unique floral & paisley spandrels on blue background. In excellent condition with high cork wool pile throughout, complete rug with all original ends and edges.
